halloween. and ppl r actually decorating the dorms, which is completely fine until they start hanging cobweb-cotton things in front of my rm. i now have to duck everytime i go in and out of my rm. i go to classes unlike the rest of u insane kids, and i'm lazy, so i really do not appreciate the extra work they r making me do. not to mention, 2nite is guaranteed to b horrendously boisterous, and i have a calc midterm 2morrow, which i really really need to go over, since i've been cutting so many classes. so, now i have to carry my heavy-ass text books all the way to the library, and study amongst strangers, b/c i can't do it in my dorm room, my usually-quiet-but-not-2nite-sanctuary

i gotta check my mailbox. last time i did that was mid sept...

totally agree with yin about psych being evil. it's the 3rd wk of classes, and we r on FREAKING ch 4. oh, and the prof does not teach by the book, he pulls random notes out of his ass and we get that as lecture notes--20 pages per lecture, 2 lectures per wk. KILL ME NOW!!! and we r responsible for both sets of materials. do i look like a walking database to u? like honestly!

and chem is evil too. it is the most time consuming, boring shit ever invented. we have to do online quizes that's part of our online resources from the text book publisher. so we spend $120 for a damn textbook that is prob worth only like $20 in china, and we have to go to the "companion site" do suffer STUPID, INANE, ASININE, REDICULOUS, and jst generally unpleasant questions about some simple thing as "the scientific method". o, and there r 3 quizes per chapter of the text, 27 ch. in the text, and we have to complete all the quizes. WTF?!?!?!!? i thought queens were for ppl who r generally not retarded!!! wtf is this???? AAAARRRRHHHHHHHGGGGGGGG. and don't even get me started on the chem labs. the prelabs r freaking pain up the ass, and so is the the actually lab report. if i ever want to jump off some really tall structure, it was all chem's fault. like i don't mind working my ass off learning new things, but doing stupid meaningless work about some stupid meaningless shit is totally grating my nerves.

bio is currently my only solace. but i only get it 3 hr a wk, not counting lab/tutorial that is. chinese is not so bad, but there r so much hw from it, and the class is so small, it is impossible for me to skip classes. and the prof is so chinese in her expectations, it hurts...

physics is so lame and stupid and yeah. it's like gr 11 stuff. i'm jst using the class as my catching-up-with-hw period. it's kinda mean, but hey, not my fault u can't engage my very short attention span. zelong's doing the same thing too now. it's kinda funny. we sit in like the 2nd row, and we r jst rding our bio texts, while the ppl around us r like, "y is the force of gravity straight down?" like, no shit it's straight down, when u jump off a cliff, do u fly? NO, coz the force of gravity pulls u STRAIGHT FREAKING DOWN!!! yeah, i'm ok. i jst really can't suffer fools. but at least it's easy, and the prelabs r not so bad in that they r not that long. and my TA is kinda cute, so...

and calculus is sooo bad. my prof is taiwanese, and u would expect him to know something. but nope, he throws phrases like x approaches infinity, and positive infinity and negative infinity like they have a meaning. and he then he proceeds to tell us that infinity does not exist. so how does x approach something that does not exist, pray tell? geez...

yeah, and no, i'm not angsty...or emo...

i guess i should update.

there's really nothing to say. i mean yeah there's frosh wk and all, but i don't like having messes on me and screaming my head off, so i've been cutting so many events it is like i'm not part of orientation. i know more upper years rite now than first years... which is kinda weird.

i went to this co-ed single rm w/ shared bath rm at watt hall, today, and damn was it nice! everything was new, and window frame was nice shining medal looking. they had blinds--not curtains--it's the roll up and down sheet ones. computer tables, double bed, full length mirrors, big closet with storage shelves beside it. and own bathroom (shared w. someone else). needless to say, i am very disappointed in my rm now. i have a single bed, old furniture, old dull-ish looking window frame, curtains, and jst a looking mirror. and bathroom down the hall. arggggg

anyways, yeah. expensive text books. i really don't know how i'm gonna come up w/ that kinda money. my bio along is over $200. and the second years i know told me that all upper year books r like that. so next year, it's gonna cost me over $1000! but i need $600-something this year. anybody wanna help?

i don't think the whole living on my own thing has sunk in yet. my parents have left to stay in an inn in the city, so i guess i still have a life-line...

there's so much papercrap to do w/in the next bit that it's boring. i'm not made for the office...

so many of my friends from china r now abroad. one's in mcgill. i mite have gone there if i knew about that, jst to say hi and stuff...

Last week I had a shoot-out with rival gang lords on the 5 near LA (-76 points). Last Wednesday I stole mystery_chick25's purse (-30 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-168 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich!

forgot to mention about the cameri (sp?) there were 15 of them in a row and i was like omg, they r soooooooo hot. yeah, i still do not understand wut that many porsches were doing in a tourist attraction parking lot. tourists don't rent porsche, do they?

there r too many things to say about italy, so i'll jst forget most and yeah...

it's really beautiful here. the buildings r really ornate and stuff, so not modern block-ish buildings. most of them have columns and statues and the funny balconies like the one in romeo and juliet.

the entire street in front of the leaning (sp?) tower of pisa and its piazza is lined with little vendors selling random stuff. all of them sell fake stuff. i saw so many lv and gucci handbags and wallets for 5 euros or 20-something euros. it was crazy. ppl were also selling D&G and guess belts and stuff... i thought only chinese ppl did this kinda stuff

so many ppl have lv bags it was scary. altho after seeing the pisa piazza, i'm starting to wonder if they r all real...

oh, yeah! did not go to venice. changed to florence and pisa. it was fun.

ppl here smoke like freaking chimneys. i could feel my lung cells dying from all the second hand smoke i inhaled. it was crazy.

europe works kinda funny. my current hotel rm is like 250 euro a nite, but the internet is not free. had to pay 22 emuro for 24 hrs...

there were quite a few guys who look like george clooney. i think it was their nose or something. but i did not want to stare so could not really tell.

enough about that. i'm gonna grouch about my uni schedule now. I HAVE FREAKING PHYSICS LAB AT 8:30 ON MON. MORNING! wut a way to start out the week. and since uni starts for me on a mon, wut a way to start my university experience!!!!! argggggggg

yeah, got carried away a bit jst now... :P anyways, going to italia, and it'll b sooooooooo cool, u don;t even know. we--me and my dad--are going to b staying at venice for the weekend, and then we'll b at turino. b back on wed. of next week. i get to gondola for the weekend. no cars, no worrying about gas price (altho it was dropping, went up again today :( anyways...) oooooo, i'm so excited.

altho did u know that there is like no direct flight from detriot to turino? we r connecting in frankerfort (sp?) on the way there and munich and dallas on the way back... so, yeah....

but i'm happy!! altho i have to unpack the suitcases i've gotten ready for uni, and repack another suitcase for italy. do u know how much pain that will b? i stuffed each of the cases to overflowing, kinda like a thanksgiving turkey. and now i have to open them (god knows wut;s gonna pop out in my face, given how stuffed they r) and when i get back on the 30th i'll have to restuff everything. and i'm leaving for uni on the friday *sigh* i had to sit on each case to zip them up... but since this is all for italy, i am so not complaining *big smile*

the woman was a contradiction. upon leaving the ministry, she was like turn left. so i stopped to wait for the traffic. there were cars coming from all sides, but they were a good distance away. i could have made it, but i was like wut the heck, safety first. but she was like wut r u waiting for? go! but, by that time there's this white car on my rite hand side that's already pretty close. and i was like wtf? but following her orders, i sped up, and semi cut in front of that car and then sped up somemore to make up for the cutting in front thing (i was going 60 on the 50 rd). the woman marks that as turning too slow; i was like i turned at 40km/hr, woman! but anyways...

so yeah, we went along dougall, and then turned rite into west grand. i was driving along, and waiting to b told to turn into one of the side streets to do 3-pt turns and parallel parking and stuff, but noo. we kept on going. all the way to dominian (sp?), where i turned rite and then left on grand marais. there i was like should swift to the rite hand lane, even tho the lane closes jst up ahead? and the woman was like y r u asking me? u r the one driving and u don't know the rd? and i was like um? sry? so yeah, that was kinda unnerving.

all along grand marais, i was waiting for an order to turn and do the turning and parking stuff coz we have not done it yet, and they r like essential for a G road test. but noooooo, we went all the way to huron church, where i got onto the expressway (by cutting in front of two trucks), and then exited the expressway at dougall (on the ramp, some guy cut me off, and i was like wtf?)

so yeah, on the way back to the ministry, i was like f***, i must have screwed up really bad in the beginning, that's y she did not even want me to park or turn or anything. but if i really f***ed up, y did we even go on the expressway? anyways, i was tres confused. and then she told me i passed, and walked out of the car b4 i could say thanx. and i was like wtf?

so yeah, now i WON'T HAVE TO TAKE A ROAD TEST AGAIN UNTIL I'M 80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if i live that long, that is :P

v for vendetta was good. a lot like 1984, but better. it took me forever to figure out that gorden was played by stephen fry, the guy who played oscar wilde. i was like i know that guy, but could not remember who he was. funny how in both films, he has some kind of weird fetish... it was still a good movie as whole tho.

all i have been doing for the last two weeks was downloading house, and watching movies while waiting. i saw all 3 xman. most of 007. and some new movies.

xman got worse and worser. the first one was okay. it had its redeeming moments. the second one was like bad. but as a seqel, it's ok, i guess. xman 3, however, did not improve upon watching it a second time. i really want to know one movie that had a good sequel.

still think that pierce brosnan is the best james bond. roger moore was not that bad. altho he was really old towards the last few movies he shot, and i was afraid he was gonna hurt himself. yeah, waiting to see how daniel whatshisname turn out.

superman returns was bad. it was so like spiderman i could predict the ending of the movie. and it was funky how they could not tell that clark was superman. like wtf?

click was not that good either. altho it had an interesting ending. the dog humping the duck thing was funny the first couple of times. but it got tiring after awhile.

all of harry potter sucked

i'm watching all these on some chinese thing, even tho my pc does not read chinese. it's rather entertaining clicking random symbols and watching what turns up. some of those chinese shows are disturbing. there's this one on gambling. it's like a series or something, and i was like wtf? and yeah, funky...

the last episode of house last night was weird. it was not as funny as usually. i mean there was the "do you know any child duped on vicodin" and "i guess i am his new best friend", but compared to the episode before, it was really lacking. of course, we got an eye-full of chase :P
